Frylinck Properties is looking for a Rental Agent.  Remuneration negotiable depending on applicant’s experience and offering.  We are a small team, and need a team player who is eager to help us put the best systems in place in order to grow and maintain our trusted company.

This is a permanent, full time position; Monday to Friday from 08:00 until 16:30

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and dynamic individual to join our team as a Rental Agent. As a Rental Agent at Frylinck Properties, you will be responsible for managing rental properties, finding and screening tenants, and ensuring a seamless rental process for both landlords and tenants.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Rental Agent or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of rental property market trends in South Africa
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Market available properties to potential tenants
  • Conduct property viewings and inspections
  • Screen and qualify prospective tenants
  • Negotiate lease terms and conditions
  • Prepare and execute rental agreements
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs
  • Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Conduct regular property assessments and inspections
  • Keep accurate records of rental transactions and tenant interactions

Skills and Traits:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and attentive to deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing rental properties in South Africa

  • Experience in social media
  • Experience in property industry (NQF 4 /PDE4)
